So you want to build you own backdrop, this might help you out.
Below you will find all the details you need for dimensions, as well as some examples of what previous customers have created!
We can’t wait to see what you come up with.
Here is an example of how the booth is setup at an event.
The booth is between 2-3m from the backdrop, and within 10m of a powerpoint.
The printer is setup right next to the booth.
The ideal backdrop size is min 2m wide x 2m high, this gives us the versatility to setup the booth with a wide view, allowing more people in the booth or a tight view, depending on your preference for photos.
When you’re creating a backdrop, take in to account that the Photo Booth uses a flash, so reflective surfaces can become very blown out, or create strange effects in your photos, (sequins can look really cool though). With lighting, such as fairy lights, or festoon lighting, it doesn’t really show up due to the power of our flash (see example below). It can look really great as a feature piece, but not for the photo booth backdrop.
If you have an amazing idea, but not the creative type, or just don’t know where to start, get in touch with us! We have an expert team that can create your wildest dreams (sometimes at a cost).
We also offer printed backdrops for corporate events, launch parties, sponsors etc. Charges may apply, pricing available on enquiry, and usually quoted on a case to case basis.
